KIDZ CLUBS are neighborhood after-school programs offered in PARTNERSHIP with local churches.  At KIDZ Club we offer a fast-paced, exciting program full of music, games, snacks and a pratical Bible/life skills lesson.
  At KIDZ CLUB we offer our kids an opportunity to hear from coummunity professionals on subjects such as gangs, violence, drugs, and alcohol.
  Many of our KIDZ CLUB kids live in poverty stricken neighborhoods and come from single parent families.  By providing a structured and consistent presence we are making the greatest impact by meeting the greatest needs of children living in the inner city

Character Counts

  We believe in developing character in kids so they can have a foundation for the future.  To this end, we have partnered with Jefferson Elementary School to offer an after-school character development program.  Children meet weekly to learn the six pillars of character: trustworthiness, respect, responsibility, fairness, caring and citizenship.  Children also have the opportunity to serve their community through service learning projects which aim at creating character awareness in the Greater Bakersfield community.  Character counts is nationally recognized and has received a city proclamation for character week in Bakersfield.
